Born in Saint-Jean-de-Verges in Ariège, Christian Mawissa Elebi started out in football at FC Pays d'Olmes before moving on to FC Mirepoix, FC Coussatois and FC Coussa-Hers. He joined the Toulouse FC training center in 2017, when he was courted by AS Monaco and Girondins de Bordeaux, who appreciated his profile as a left-footed defender with ability with his right foot. In 2018, he joined the Castelmaurou youth center for two years of pre-training. He impresses in the different youth categories, mainly due to his physique and that is where he is always surpassed.
On December 29, 2022, he made his professional debut with Toulouse FC, being selected as a starting right-back by Philippe Montanier in the sixteenth round of Ligue 1 against Olympique de Marseille, he was then seventeen years and eight months old. However, he was unable to prevent the defeat of his team who lost by six goals to one that day.
On 11 August 2024, Christian Mawissa joined AS Monaco. Signs a five-year contract, until June 2029. The transfer is estimated at 16 million euros.
