Italian coach took charge of the Giallorossi last season to replace José Mourinho
Roma announced, this Tuesday, that it has reached an agreement to extend the contract with coach Daniele De Rossi until 2027. Even though he has few years of experience, the half-season he spent at the helm of the Giallorossi last season was enough so that De Rossi deserved the trust of the club's management.
The former Roma player took over the technical command of the capital team during the 2023/24 season, to replace José Mourinho. With De Rossi at the helm, Roma finished the season in 6th place, with 13 wins in 26 games and even reached the semi-finals of the Europa League.
Before signing for Roma, De Rossi's only experience was as head coach of SPAL and as assistant to the Italian national team.
