Victor James Osimhen is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Serie A club Napoli and the Nigerian national team. Considered one of the best strikers in the world, he is known for his excellent finishing, speed, strength and athleticism. Osimhen was born in Lagos, Nigeria on December 29, 1998. He began his youth football career at Ultimate Strikers Academy in Lagos. In 2016, he was discovered by Wolfsburg scouts and signed a professional contract with the German club.
Osimhen made his professional debut for Wolfsburg in the 2016-17 season. He quickly became a regular for the team, scoring 10 goals in 25 games. In 2018, he was loaned to Charleroi in Belgium.
In 2019, Osimhen was signed by Lille in France. He had an impressive debut season, scoring 18 goals in 38 games, helping Lille win the Ligue 1 title.
